Pissing Excellence were led to their 3.72 point victory by a 30.10 point effort from Joseph Addai, who beat the Houston Texans defense for 105 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 48 receiving yards. With this performance, Addai was the number 2 ranked running back for week 11. They also got help from a 17.40 point effort from Greg Jennings, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 64 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
"This team shows a lot of resiliency," Pissing Excellence coach Rob Obstgarten said.
San Antonio Hellboys were helped out in a losing cause by a 24.90 point effort from Tyler Thigpen, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 235 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 45 rushing yards. With this performance, Thigpen was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 11. They also got help from a 23.40 point effort from Hines Ward, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 124 receiving yards.
"My hat's off to them," San Antonio Hellboys coach Mark McDaniel said.
Compounding the issue, San Antonio Hellboys could have scored 135.82 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Mark McDaniel left key players like Shaun Hill and his corresponding 27.02 points on the bench.
San Antonio Hellboys drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 8 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 11. This brings the record for Pissing Excellence to 5-6, and drops San Antonio Hellboys to a record of 8-3.
Coming up in week 12, San Antonio Hellboys are at the 3-8 BowerPower, where BowerPower are an early 9.5-point underdog, while the 6-5 Wah-nee Pride are at Pissing Excellence, where Pissing Excellence are an early 7.1-point underdog.
